I ran for state representative because New Hampshire is one of the best places to live, work, and play, but there’s still work to do. I believe that a healthy economy, healthy climate, and healthy community all go hand in hand. I stand for the values I was raised on, including reproductive rights, affordable housing, resilience to climate change, and strong public schools.

I believe in the power and importance of local community involvement, and I strive to bring my public health background to my service work on the Seacoast and throughout New Hampshire. As a member of the Portsmouth Public Library’s Board of Trustees, I promote the library as a community center that can provide meaningful programming and social connectedness. Literacy and learning are essential to a healthy, thriving society in which different viewpoints are tolerated. In summer 2023, I collaborated with 603 Forward on a community event for Seacoast residents about the housing shortage in New Hampshire. As a health policy ambassador for the Society of Behavioral Medicine, I am building relationships with New Hampshire lawmakers and their staffs, engaging them to make evidence-based decisions on nutrition policy.

I grew up in Londonderry and reside in downtown Portsmouth. I received my undergraduate degree from Brandeis University, a master’s degree in public health from Yale University, and a PhD in public health from the University of South Carolina. In my day job, I work as a mixed methods research manager for athenahealth, a Boston-based health tech company. I lead survey and qualitative research to find new and unique insights and trends affecting health care.

In 2023, I was named to Seacoast 10 to Watch and the Boston Congress of Public Health’s 40 Under 40. I have also been named to the New Hampshire Union Leader’s 40 Under Forty Class of 2024.
